Bob will introduce you to our friends at Zorba’s Jewelers who we have known for years. They designed Bob & Beth's wedding bands. If you see something you like, you get a friends and family discount. Bob will also explain and assist in buying simple inexpensive, yet wonderful gifts such as Olive Oil, olive oil soap. These items can be left safely at the hotel to be picked up on our return from the Classical Tour. (Breakfast included)

October 21 Begin the day with a buffet breakfast then on to the Ancient Olympic site and a visit to the Olympic Museum. After lunch on our own, we begin the scenic drive to Delphi. On the way we will see the valley of the million olive trees in front of a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea. In the evening, another treat of a delicious dinner buffet. This is a place to buy local olive oil, which I consider the best in the world. Overnight in Delphi (Breakfast & dinner included)
October 22 After breakfast, we visit the ruins at Delphi including the Oracle at Delphi, the woman’s empowerment center of the world. (Don’t worry fellows, we visit the site of the stand of the 300 Spartans later in the tour) Then, it’s on to the Delphi Museum, lunch and then the journey to Kalambaka where the Monasteries of Meteroa await. Dinner at the hotel in Kalambaka. (Breakfast & dinner included)
October 23 After breakfast, we will be treated to two of the 6 operating Monasteries of Meteroa. Check them out on this link: www.touropia.com/meteora-monasteries/ While every stop on our tour is fabulous, the monasteries are particularly intriguing because of their history and almost impossible to imagine construction done on the top of the Pinnacles. Some of which rise 1500 feet straight up in the air. On our return to Athens, we will stop by Thermopylae, the site of the stand of the 300 Spartans against the Persians in 480 BC. Upon arrival in Athens we will check in to our hotel, and enjoy a festive Greek dinner in the Plaka. (Breakfast & dinner included)
